Accessible Butterfly Garden

The Friends of Sailor Bar are working with the Sacramento Valley California Native Plant Society and the Sacramento County Regional Parks to create a native plant sensory butterfly garden that is accessible for persons with and without disabilities next to the Turtle Pond. The project is expected to be completed by the Fall of 2027. Here is a preliminary rendering, subject to minor revision for compliance with the American River Parkway Nature Study restrictions, and for accessibility.
